Hawaii

Well here are some of the newer pictures. Not too much is happening here. Jason's on stand-down for the holidays so we get to have him home alot. That actually means we're at the beach most of the time. Curiously enough with the time we've been spending on the beach no one is tan lol. Especially not me. We really love it here. There is still lots we haven't seen so it's exciting to have alot of adventures to look forward to. I'll post the christmas pictures soon...stay tuned.

Summer Fun in Cali

I'm back! Finally got the computer here and all's back to normal. what a crazy year it's been. Connecticut to California to Hawaii and Jason gone most of the time. It makes me tired just thinking about it. So this week I'll catch up on this since I've got the time....Jason's gone again. Anyway I hope you all enjoy the pictures :)

We have arrived....like 3 weeks ago

Just a quick little update for everyone. Me and the boys are in California right now at my parents house. Jason will come out in about another week and a half. Then the very end of the month we'll fly out to Hawaii. So if I haven't seen you yet, call me! i don't have a car to get around so you all have to come to us :) Hopefully when jason gets here we'll rent a car and be able to get out more.

All Packed Up

We've had a crazy time around here lately. Today though everything got all packed and tomorrow it'll go on the truck. I can't believe we'll be back in California in just a couple days. Seems so unreal. I'm a little freaked out about this plane ride that's looming. Three kids on a plane with only one parent it dosn't sound very smart, but hey what're you gonna do. Eli's also started teething just yesterday so I'm hopeing they just brake through really quickly and spare me a plane ride with a teething baby.
I'm so excited to see everyone. Two years is a really long time especially with how fast kids grow. I'm excited. Cameron is about to bust a gut he's so excited. I had him pack his backpack this morning before the movers started and he was so upset when I told him he still had to wait a few more days. I think he's going to be even more upset when he gets there that grandma and grandpa won't actually be there. Kaelie just had to graduate this weekend. No I'm just kidding. He's got a real thing for his grandpa. Probably because he's like a clone of him lol.
It's hard to know how to feel about leaving here. It stinks that we have to leave friends, but it's also bad because we won't see Jason until we go to Hawaii. Which I guess would be the case anyway since he's going underway for the next month. I am excited though. With all the uncertaintly the military leaves you with you gotta focus on the good stuff. So...good stuff....it's HAWAII! I'm sure it'll be a fun adventure for us all.

So big

Look how much bigger he is! It's killing me. Where did the time go?!

I was looking through old pictures and videos and this one came up and it made me laugh. That's so crazy he was only 1 1/2 in that. It's amazing how much bigger he is now.

Anyone keeping track.....

Jason's gone right now, but he gets back this weekend. YEAH! This last month has felt like a long one. The schedule of a month in and a month out is getting to everyone I think. So we're really excited to finally make our move to Hawaii and be done with that schedule. We're also very excited to have a long visit in California to see everyone. The boys talk about seeing all their cousins and going to grandma and grandpa's house alot so I know they're excited too. I'm really hoping nothing changes, like things have a way of doing in the Navy, and we see everyone in California in about a month. It's hard to believe we'll be leaving here so soon. We've been talking about the move for about a year now but it still hasn't quite hit me. As scary as changes are sometimes we're still really excited about the new adventures that are ahead.

Saying goodbye to friends :(

This is my friend/neighbor Lacy and below is Bob, Jason of course, and KC, Lacy's husband. They're leaving to go home and visit and while they're gone we're going to be leaving. We're so sad. we were really hoping they'd be following us to Hawaii but it's not looking like that's going to happen. Hopefully at some point we'll live in the same place again. We're going to miss you guys!
This is Eli's friend Blake. It's KC and Lacy's little boy. He was only born 7 weeks, I think, after Eli.

the last of it....

at least that's my hope. This was of the last snow storm about a week or so ago. It was still snowing when I took these pictures. If you notice the pictures are from the same place. I was standing in the doorway. I don't go out into it unless neccessary or I'm feeling the need to pelt someone with it. The morning after these pictures I was taking the trash out with no jacket wearing short sleeves and jason charged out the door and tackeled me into the snow. Too funny we got stuck in the snow. We were like turtles turned on our backs. We were laughing so hard by the time we got it together to stand back up our hands and arms were so cold it hurt to touch the snow so we were trying to get up without touching it and we kept slipping and falling back in. Funny. I have to say for snow it was really nice though. Really soft powder so soft you sink really far in. haha. Cameron has a good time scooping out. He got so excited to go out he wouldn't give me any time to look for his gloves and hat so he's wearing mine. Funny boy.

Oh so cute!...and not so much

So we were all set to celebrate Will's birthday the day after on the 18th. Jason ended up getting off work early so we had ourselves a little impromptu party. As always, the boys were really excited. It was a good time. I can't believe he's 3!
I couldn't resist. Isn't he precious?! He's getting so big!
this would be the, not so much part. So this is what guys do when left with nothing else to do. This creeped me out so much I could hardly look at him. Leave it on the boat next time honey.

Cute Boys

Everytime I put Eli down on the floor William comes along and snuggles up with him. He goes and finds a blanket and covers both of them. It's really sweet. Cameron will try to help Eli if he's crying but other than that he just leaves him alone. He's such a ham though. Everytime I get out the camera he has to be in the picture too. this is the only way I can get a picture with the 3 of them. If any of you are thinking wow they look kind of unkept.lol It's because they are. No one ever sees us so who cares. I finally ended up buzzing their heads the other night.

Firsts

First time in his little excersaucer thing.

His first cereal. He kept trying to lap it up like a dog. Very entertaining.

I put him on my lap to play the piano for the first time. He really like it.

The many faces of Eli

He's so cute! His little cheeks are getting so round. And his eyelashes are so long he looks like a Who. It's always the first thing people comment on. They're so long you can actually see them in the pictures. He's such a good happy baby. I can't believe he's already 3 months old.
