Cameron's Birthday
Cameron turned 4! I can hardly believe I have a 4 year old! So for his birthday he played in the snow and had friends over for a little party. He was so excited it was fun to watch. When it came to the cake William just wasn't going to give him a chance to blow out those candles himself. He didn't seem to mind too much though. He was too caught up being happy to get irritated with him. It really was a great day.

Drum playing
Cameron got inspired listening to Weezer. He was really into it. By the time I got the camera though he was less enthused. I still thought it was cute though.

rough housing animals
The boys had such a good time trying on all the different costumes we've accumulated. They got a little overly excited with eachother. It never ends good when they play this way.

waiting and waiting
So there's still no baby yet. I'm sure anxious to get this show on the road though. My parents have been here for the last two weeks, since we were expecting him to come early. The boys have been having fun with them. They go to the park, to the playground, to the farm, and orchard so they've been having a good time. I have continued to see the doctor every other day, sometimes more. Let me tell you, that's annoying. So that's about all. We'll just continue to wait for him and hopefully he'll make an appearance before they leave next week.

New Hair Do
So ignoring the fact that I have scary eyes and the picture's too bright you can see I got my hair done. I'm loving it. Which is something new. I can't remember the last time I really got my hair done and liked it so much. I think it'll look cuter after my bangs grow out, but until then I still like it.
Our Month
So let me try my best to some up what's been going on this month. Jason's been here, been gone, been here again, and now gone again. For the next couple months he'll be in Washington taking a class. The boys and me have kept pretty busy. Which is the best thing we'd all be crazy by now if we weren't. We started walking every morning again with one of our friends who has kids the same age as the boys. So they spend every morning together at the park and here at the house playing. We've also been going to the orchard at least once a week to pick peaches, raspberries, or tomatoes. Whichever we feel like eating more that day. The boys usually prefer the peaches and end up eating a whole one in the time it takes to pick a bag full. We've had BBQ's with our neighbors and a birthday party for one of Cameron's favorite neighbor boys. We've been to the movies twice and found out that suckers are the best thing for that. It plugs up the hole :) We've had pool and sprinkler days and picnic parties. Pretty much anything to fill the time so they don't get bored. This week we've already been to the movies and had a picnic party with friends, tomorrow we have play group, on saturday we're going to this really big orchard that has a sunflower maze and corn maze with some of our friends. I think we're just doing the sunflower maze and then probably picking some fruit. The mazes are supposed to be pretty big. It should be interesting. Hopefully I remember my camera. I'm hoping the boys wake up from their naps today in time for me to go over to the school and sign Cameron up for preschool. He's getting so big! So that's been our month in a nutshell. I'm sure I've forgotten lots of things, but I'll just blame that on my pregnancy brain. Speaking of such things. The baby is doing good and although we've had some snags this month things keep turning out fine. Not too much longer now.

Yummy in my Tummy
So this morning we went back to the orchard. We picked peaches, raspberries and yellow and red grape tomatoes. There were so many peaches and tomatoes to pick they were just loaded. Needless to say it didn't take very long. It took more time hiking all over that hill (I'd call it a mountain but those don't really exist here.) The boys loved it. William chowed down on all the raspberries and peaches. All of the trees were so full of peaches it was kind of amazing to me. They taste soooooo good too.I only have about a week and then it's on to Nectarines and Pears too. Yummy!!!

Our Week without Jay
For anyone keeping track, Jason's gone again. I think he only has about a week left and then he'll be home again. Then about a week after that he'll be gone again. You gotta love the military.
This week has been filled with more berry picking, going to the movies and too many doctor visits. Luckily the doctors visits were for me, none for the boys. We went to see Wall-e a few days ago. i'm not sure if the fact that I was there just with the boys changed my opinion of the movie, but I wasn't too impressed. The boys didn't come out of it too excited either so that was kind of a bummer. Berry picking though always seems to be a big hit. Probably because their version involves more eating than saving. We were very successful this time and got a whole pint from just one row. We're going again tomorrow to pick tomatoes, peaches, and yes more raspberries. Yummy...just thinking about it makes me happy. Tomatoes having been one of my number one cravings during this pregnancy and then that whole tomato thing happened so I haven't been buying them. It's been rough :) I might have to go spend some serious money and go buy some avacados so I can eat them together. Man this is making my mouth water. lol. Sorry I sidetracked...back to my week. So i've been to the doctor 4 times this week if you include going to get more blood work done again today. Boy am I excited for that part to be over with. The boys have been so many times with me they finally decided this last time that it wasn't exciting to go with me anymore. So that's been our week in a nutshell. Sorry no pictures. I'll work on it this week.

Beach Trips and Berry Picking
Summer is definately in full swing around here. It's been hot and really humid. YUCK! Besides that though we've found alot to keep us entertained. There's pictures from two different beach trips, you can't really tell it was two different days. One was when Jason was gone and we were with some friends and the other obviously he was with us. Cameron loves the beach. This last time Jason got him to go into some deeper water and was trying to teach him to swim. Surprisingly he didn't get frustrated and he really liked it. The beach for William is a different story. He didn't love it at first but it's been growing on him. By the end of our last trip he was actually walking into the water by himself and really enjoying it. We've also gone berry picking a couple times. I forgot the camera the first time, but today we went with our neighbor Lacy, who Cameron loves, and picked some raspberries. The boys are pros. They were finding some good ones. Next week we're picking peaches. I'm pretty excited about that. I love it that we live so close to the orchards and farms. It's been such a nice treat to have fresh produce.

Since the night after Jason left the first time Cameron has been pretending that he's dad and captain of the submarine, which is the couch. It's very cute. He rumaged through all of his toys until he found his Dixie cap we bought him a long time ago. Then he came downstairs, with the hat on upside down, and proclaimed he was dad. Every night since we've gotten a little show. Poor Will was recruited as part of the crew. You can tell how interested he is in that.

Rain Boots
Cameron's been able to put on his own shoes for quite a while now. For some reason he wanted to wear his rain boots and refused to change his mind. So all day long he wore those things. It couldn't have been very comfortable since they were on the wrong feet and it was really humid. However, it was very cute and he made sure all of our neighbors noticed his "special boots."

The Newest David
Thought you all might like to see the little one. Things are going well right now. They're monitoring things really closely which means alot of blood tests and sonograms, but things are coming along nicely. They measured him today and told me he weighs about 13 oz. Just a tiny little thing. Since they're doing these pretty in depth sonograms I got to see all of his fingers and toes his heart and just about every inch of him. I think he's already pretty cute, but I'm a little biased.

News
So Jason took his advancement test way back in March and finally today the results came back. He passed! So he is now Petty Officer David, much better than Seaman David in my opinion :) I'm so proud of him. Hopefully he'll take another one sometime in the fall, we'll see though. He has a deployment coming up in a few weeks too. Not a long one though so that's good.

We're Having A........
BOY! Can you believe that! So it's going to be a crazy house with 3 boys. I'm really excited though. Cameron would have been disappointed if it had been a girl. He wanted it to be either a boy or a dog. He's so cute. By the way this one is already moving and kicking I'd say he's going to be a feisty little thing.

Weekend Fun
This last weekend was very eventful for us. I think we all really needed it after a week of isolation. We all cycled through having the stomach flu, except cameron he rarely gets sick. Thanks goodness we're all better. We all went to see Horton Hears a Who. The boys did really good and Cameron has been talking about it ever since. He really liked it. We also went to a carnival, which they always enjoy. This time though they even had a little petting zoo on the side. They had a lot of fun petting and feeding the goats and seeing the ponies and camel. The also got to see a magician. Cameron has been pretending for several weeks the this little piece of wood is a magic wand, he even sleeps with it sometimes, so he was very excited. Then they also got to pet his rabbit, which William really loved. It was such a good family day. On top of all that excitement I have started feeling the baby move. I've been feeling the flutters for weeks now but I can feel it nudge me now. I thought that was very exciting. For those who don't know I think I'm approaching 19 weeks. I've been really bad at remembering exactly the week I'm at but I'm pretty sure that's right. I wish I had pictures to share from our weekend fun, but once again I forgot. All this forgetfulness must do with the pregnancy or at least that's what I'm claiming for the moment.

Jay's BIrthday
So Jay's birthday was like a month a go but I've been a slacker so I'm just getting to it. I think Cameron had more fun then anyone. He had been looking forward to it for days. He was so excited about the hats and the cake and the silly string. He kept telling us to put our hats back on. Poor Jason had to wear a little kids party hat all night. Just a little side note about silly string...it sticks like super glue to plastic. This would have been nice to know before hand. Also it scared William to death. Poor kid was not happy. Cameron and his daddy had a little too much fun with it and he had to keep running for his life. It's ok though nothing a little cake wouldn't fix. Overall though I think it was a fun family night.

Cute Boys
Their Fun New Toy
You may not be able to tell from the video, but they love this thing. It's the center of their attention this last week. Please don't look at the mess that it passes through. I had been organizing the toys into piles and cleaning the closet out and then nothing got put away. It was a rough day. You can tell what kind of day it's been by how the house looks sometimes. William had fun though I think. They've learned how to work it all so they do pretty well even by themselves. Will has even learned how to fix the tracks. So far it was a good investment. Hours and hours of fun.

Singing
At any given time during the day I can hear Cameron singing. He knows quite a few songs so at least it's not the same thing over and over. Mostly, though, he makes up songs about whatever he's doing. I tried to catch him in the act but he heard the camera turn on. All well, he ended up making up another one for you.

Brawling
The night time brawl on the bed has become quite dangerous, at least for me. William gets too excited and he scratched me across my face and made me bleed. Notice in the picture i'm nervous. This is in the middle of the whole thing. Cameron stopped to do my hair. He likes to do it and he's very serious about it. So he'll tell me what he's doing as he's doing it and then he gives me strict instructions not to mess it up. Will's attempting to do the same thing too, but like I said he makes me nervous. Notice the scary excitement in his eyes.
